Ashley Greene’s Post-Twilight Plan? Action Hero!

The end is (kinda) near for the mega-hit Twilight movie franchise, and Ashley Greene already has her sights set on post-vampire roles.

The on-screen Alice Cullen says she wants to go older, and get some action.

“If you could find a strong female role in an action film, that is one of the most sought-after parts for women,” she told me at the CFDA Awards at Lincoln Center. “You know, I played 17 first for the past four years and it’s kind of time for me to change over.”

As for what spoilers she can divulge to rabid fans who finally got to see the Breaking Dawn trailer…

Ashley says you got to see it before she did, and that the studio has the cast on total lockdown about spilling any details.

“I haven’t even seen the trailer,” she confessed. “I was in my friend’s wedding this weekend…so I was kind of doing bridesmaids duty and that whole thing. But other than that, I can’t tell you anything.”

Even though the movies are wrapping up, she expects the cast to be tight.

“I think we honestly all get to hang out more now that we aren’t working then we did when we were filming. So as long as it stays that way I don’t think it’ll be too bad,” she said, adding that reality hasn’t sunk in that they’ve wrapped the final flick.

“I’m not really dealing with the end of it yet because I feel like it won’t really be over for another two years because the films coming out and then the press tours and stuff.”

Up next for the busy babe, who also shot LOL with Miley Cyrus and Butter with Jennifer Garner recently?

She’s trying to aim for some quality time with her family.

“I’m going to go and try to get away with my parents,” she said of her summer plans.

And this time, she won’t have that pesky Joe Jonas tagging along, we presume.

Ashley Greene Has Weddings On the Brain!

Ashley Greene may be one of the only single starlets left from the leading Twilight cast but all she can think about lately is weddings. Her co-star Nikki Reed recently got engaged to American Idol alum Paul McDonald, the much-anticipated wedding clip from Breaking Dawn was finally released and Ashley spent all weekend at a wedding, instead of the MTV Movie Awards. “I was in San Diego this weekend at a friend’s wedding so I was kind of in wedding land ironically enough!” she told OK! at the CDFA Awards in NYC Monday night.

But the biggest wedding of all will be her co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s on-screen nuptials in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

“All of the fans have been waiting for this since the first film,” she says. “If they’ve read the books they know what’s going to happen and it’s finally going to pay off.”

While she may have to start helping her co-star Nikki plan a wedding soon, Ashley says she couldn’t be happier with single life after breaking up with boyfriend Joe Jonas in March.

And the best part?

“Being about to really, really focus,” she tells OK!. “Being in my pajamas, sitting at my house, just reading and looking at scripts, searching directors and reading different books that are turning into screenplays. And being able to just really focus on me and what I’m going to do next in my career.”

But don’t expect Ashley to stay single for too long. She’s got plenty of Hollywood crushes she’s already started eyeing.

“Oh gosh, there’s so many!” Ashley tells OK!. “You know, Joseph Gordon-Levitt I’ve always kind of had a crush on. I think he’s extremely talented.”

That sexy nerd from (500) Days of Summer?

“Yeah!”
